Vickie Francis McCullough

Vickie Francis McCullough
December 31, 1947 - February 6, 2006

We dedicate our PAC website to Vickie McCullough, who passed away on Monday, February 6, 2006. Vickie was our friend, co-worker, a staunch PAC supporter and union advocate. She was always ready to help with union and political events. We will miss her big smile, fighting spirit and her friendship. She will be dearly missed.

Vickie was hired in March 1988, when she became the Systems Analyst in charge of all CSIS computer labs. For many years, Vickie also served as a member of the CSIS adjunct faculty.

The following information was submitted by her colleagues at the CSIS Department:

“Vickie McCullough played a key role in the expansion of the CSIS computer labs during a period of rapid technological advancement, which ushered in a period of tremendous growth for the department. In a very real sense, Vickie and the CSIS Department at Palomar grew together.

Vickie cared passionately about Palomar College, and she was always up to sharing her thoughts and opinions about what was happening here and how to make things better. Vickie was known for her work ethic, her strong sense of values, and her respect for those around her. Above all, Vickie McCullough will undoubtedly be remembered most of all as a dear friend to all that came into contact with her."
